A Woman Unmasked is a performance art show to commemorate International Women’s Day.

The team of artists that contribute to a Woman Unmasked are all unique in their own way. Each artist tells a story through a different art form–that all speak to female empowerment.

When I met the cast of a Woman Unmasked at their rehearsal, I quickly became a part of what they are creating. The celebration of strong women and the female energy in the room was uplifting and supportive. It was an honour to spend the day with these powerful women, featured in the following video.

Their performance on International Women’s Day will move you–through their music, dance, aerial art and more, “It’s art from all different angles,” said creative director Gosia Cholodecki.

A Woman Unmasked is a live art show on March 4, 2017 at 165 Geary Ave starting at 7 pm with the first performance at 8 pm.
